They said a man was taken to Taumarunui Hospital with serious injuries. It's understood he was then flown to Waikato Hospital by helicopter where he remains in a critical condition.

This was taken from NewsHub on the 16th of July 2019 - this incident happened in Taumaranui but it could happen anywhere....

This is ONE WEEK after a farmer died in Mid Canterbury after being crushed by farm machinery.

Two tragic incidents in a week shows that we all need to be aware of the dangers that farmers are exposed to every day.

Unfortunately these stories are all too common, lets work together to try to make sure there are fewer of them in future...
